On Thursday classes took part in a range of activities to celebrate R U Ok? Day. R U OK?Day (Thursday 12 September, 2019) is our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that every day is the day to ask, “Are you ok?” and support those struggling with life’s ups and down . This year the theme was Trust the Signs, Trust your Gut & Ask R U OK? Classes took part in activities that focused on how to be a good friend and look out for others.
The year 4/5 classes decorated rocks with positive quotes. These rocks will be used as part of a school kindness rock garden. Other classes made yellow decorations to wear on the day.
Thank you to the year 4/5’s for my lovely ‘donut worry’ rock which I will keep on my desk. Very thoughtful! What a great day we had.
